A little bit of type can go a long way. Sometimes a logo or wordmark needs a bit more than a commercial typeface has to offer. This is where custom type design comes in. It doesn't have to be a full all singing typeface right from the start. It can begin with just enough characters to make the logo. The rest can grow with time.
Apium is a non-trivial serif typeface. Inspired by the lettering of an old advert, it aims to add fun to a serif with distinctive features. It comes in five weights with matching italics.
